SBF serves as the co-leader of the COVID-19 Joint Response Effort for Santa Barbara, a 34-member funders’ collaborative, which has together provided over $18.9 million in relief in our region. Read More

In April 2019, the Foundation awarded Good Samaritan Shelter with a Community Disaster Relief Fund Grant, allowing the agency to create an Emergency Response Plan. Because of the planning process, Good Sam was ready when the pandemic hit. Read More
The Latinx & Indigenous Migrant COVID-19 Response Task Force is a countywide collaborative made up of more than 90 organizations working together to ensure coronavirus-safe working conditions for farmworkers in North County. Read More
