For 92 years, Santa Barbara Foundation (SBF) donors have entrusted us, the region’s largest community foundation, to invest their charitable dollars with empathy and an eye toward significant and measurable impact. In 2019, SBF continued this work in a big way – in partnership with our donors, we invested $31 million in Santa Barbara County nonprofit organizations to support working families, vulnerable populations, and all who dream of a stronger future.

Cheri Savage is the longest-tenured staff member at the Santa Barbara Foundation, a 23-year SBF veteran who has devoted much of her career to strengthening nonprofits and promoting philanthropy in our county.
Growing from a Field of Interest Fund held at the Santa Barbara Foundation, with only 67 members in 2004, to a nonprofit with over 1,100 members today, the Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara has come a long way and made a significant impact in our community.
