From Data to Donors: Understanding donor data to strengthen relationships and revenue

March 5, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free – $55

About this event

Description:

Most nonprofit fundraisers are drowning in data but starving for insight. They pull reports, see numbers, but struggle to translate that into a cohesive plan of action. In the end, many either ignore the data (and follow their “gut”) or get overwhelmed by it!

This workshop will teach you to reframe your donor data in a way that allows you to better listen to your donors. We will explore where and how to look for donor behavior patterns and how to translate those “signals” into specific relationship development tactics that make your fundraising operations more efficient and effective. This model will teach fundraisers to amplify growth vs. replacement as a means of strengthening year-over-year fundraising performance.

Participants will leave this workshop with:

  • A reusable framework (signal – interpretation – action) to inform donor analysis and development strategies
  • Segmentation model – to better align specific donor behaviors and “signals” with donor cultivation tactics using your organization’s specific donor data
  • An opportunity mapping tool – that can be used to create action plans for specific donors based on your analytics
  • Practical, donor-aligned strategies to drive development growth

Who should participate:

This workshop is designed for nonprofit leaders, staff, board members and development committee volunteers who have accountability for shaping and executing your organization’s fundraising and donor stewardship activities.
