South Coast Youth Safety Partnership Meeting

We are excited to invite you to join us on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Santa Barbara Library – Faulkner Room from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. for an engaging community gathering focused on Positive Youth Development (PYD).

This event will bring together local leaders, educators, and community members committed to building safe, supportive, and thriving opportunities for youth across Santa Barbara County.

We are honored to feature John Schettler, Assistant Superintendent of Pupil Services. Goleta Union School District, and ShaKenya Edison, Assistant Superintendent of Student & Family Services, Santa Barbara Unified School District, as our keynote speakers. Both leaders bring deep expertise and a passion for youth empowerment, equity, and creating pathways for young people to succeed. Their insight and leadership will help guide our community in advancing PYD strategies that strengthen connections between schools, families, and neighborhoods.
