Strategic Social Media for Nonprofit Growth and Engagement

Description
Social media has become one of the most powerful—and cost-effective—tools nonprofits can use to build awareness, engage supporters, and advance their mission. But successful social media isn’t about posting more often; it’s about posting with purpose. This interactive virtual workshop will help nonprofit leaders develop a strategic approach to social media that aligns with organizational priorities, engages the right audiences, and delivers measurable results. Participants will explore how different social media platforms can support specific objectives, from volunteer recruitment and donor cultivation to event promotion, corporate partnerships, and talent acquisition.
Participants will learn practical strategies for creating compelling content, building an efficient content calendar, and using scheduling and analytics tools to maximize their time and impact. The workshop will also examine the role of organic versus paid social media, explore current platform trends and best practices, and demonstrate how social media can be integrated into larger fundraising and marketing campaigns. By the end of the session, attendees will have a framework for developing purposeful, mission-driven social media strategies and communicating their results to executive leadership, boards, funders, and other key stakeholders.
