The Santa Barbara Reading Coalition www.sbreads.org advocates for improved literacy outcomes for all public schools in Santa Barbara County. Our mission is to help achieve 90%+ reading proficiency scores for all students through Science of Reading-based instruction. The Reading Coalition meets regularly with members of the SBUSD school board, educational community groups, business leaders, political figures, teachers, union leaders, and participates in community outreach.
