Alberto needs health care: Your support makes a difference!

Meet Alberto

Alberto is a local farmworker who has lived in our county with his partner and four-year-old daughter since 2001 and works hard to harvest the fresh produce that we enjoy year ’round.

At a recent well-child checkup for his daughter, Alberto shared that he had not seen a doctor in seven years because he has no insurance. His daughter’s pediatrician referred him to Savie Health, a free clinic in Lompoc.

Donate today to provide necessary health care for our neighbors in need.

Savie Health practitioners were able to see Alberto and prescribe treatment to address his difficulty breathing and high blood pressure.

“My health is improving,” he said. “And the best part is that it’s free so I don’t have to worry about paying anything.”

Thanks to generous donors like you, Savie Health received a capacity building grant from SBF’s Collaboration for Social Impact. Funds were used to purchase lab equipment, furnish the clinic, and share information and services with our Spanish-speaking neighbors.
