Child Care Facilities Planning Resources

A Roadmap for Sustainable Child Care in Santa Barbara County

Santa Barbara County’s Child Care Facilities Master Plan and Toolkit build on the progress made through the county’s ARPA-funded child care recovery initiative. Developed with providers, planners, funders, parents, and public officials, these resources offer a data-driven roadmap for expanding child care facilities, strengthening the early childhood workforce, and advancing equity across the county. For background on the investments that informed this work, read the ARPA Child Care Impact Report. Additional resources can be found on our Reports page.
