An Update from our President & CEO | COVID-19: Nonprofit Resources | COVID-19: Business Resources
To Santa Barbara County community members and our friends in the social sector:
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the health and well-being of our community is our top priority. We will provide additional updates and recommendations as necessary via email, our website, and social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram). For social sector news and updates, please also refer to the Nonprofit Resource Network Santa Barbara (NPRNSB).
We encourage all of our friends and neighbors to closely monitor updates and review important health and safety resources from the following government agencies:
Below is a more detailed breakdown of information as it pertains to general COVID-19 resources for the community and the social sector.
The Santa Barbara Foundation, United Way of Santa Barbara County, and Hutton Parker Foundation are leading a countywide collaboration with members of the Foundation Roundtable to provide assistance to individuals and families as well as organizations actively engaged in assistance efforts for members of the community affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
June 15, 2021 marked a hopeful transition for our state and our community with the safe reopening of California. Similarly, the COVID-19 Joint Response Effort grant program is also embarking on a thankful change as we transition our focus from disaster response to the recovery and rebuilding of our county.
